Ally Howatt
About Ally

Ally got her start in the music business from an inspirational trip to Nashville. She came back to Canada and recorded an album in 2008 titled "Ride of our Life". The album included 10 original country tracks and was released July 12, 2008. During preparation for the release, Howatt entered a radio contest and beat out the competition to snag a spot performing for thousands with Johnny Reid, The Higgins, Crystal Shawanda and Deric Ruttan at Canada Day Jam at Woodbine Park in Toronto. Her album started selling rapidly and her first radio single was well-received. "Matter of Time" was requested by fans and earned Ally the well-deserved exposure she needed to further her career. Since her album, she has been touring Canada with her band to promote the originals and to meet fans who "love country music as much as I do!"

"Ride of Your Life" is the title track to Ally's album. It's a feel-good song about the excitement of finding a new love interest. The up-tempo "Walk of Shame," "Damn Boys" and "Get er Done" have been crowd favourites. Ally's heartfelt vocal abilities are showcased in the ballads "One Breath" and "Relentless".  Her unique writing style allows fans to relate to her songs because they "come from the heart and the everyday experiences of those around me. A song always starts with somebody's story."

Ally is currently working on the follow-up to "Ride of Your Life" and is excited to take her music to the fans.
